ZANE GREY's Spirit of the Border (#1) Four Color (Dell) # 197
Condition: I do not offer my opinion as to grade. Grading is very subjective, witnessed by CGC's policy of having at least 3 graders give their opinions and then using the average. It is not a science. Likewise, the Overstreet Price Guide is just that - a guide. It is up to a potential buyer to decide whether an item being offered is worth the asking price. No one is forced to buy something they believe is priced too high. With that in mind, I put up scans of the front and back covers to give you an idea of its condition. In addition, I try my best to describe any other defects that might not be obvious. Comics are complete with supple pages unless described otherwise below.

even so slight spine roll, a penciled 'a' on the front cover and, evidently, it laid on top of a "Gabby Hayes' comic sometime in the distant past and the color from that book transferred some to the back cover of this one? (see scan) Otherwise, pretty darn nice! .
For reference, the 2017 Overstreet Price Guide states that a 9.2 (Near Mint Minus) copy is valued at $240
