I currently have more mult-issue lots of X-Men comics up for bid. Please check out my other auctions. If you win multiple items, I will combine on shipping whenever possible to save you money! I will be listing more comics, so please keep checking back!
These have been stored for the last 25+ years in Mylite comic storage bags (a thinner version of Mylar), with acid-free backing boards, in a comic box in an air conditioned, dark closet (in a smoke-free, pet-free home).
In this auction, you are bidding on a lot of 4 comic books:
X-MEN #130 (1980)
This is the first appearance of Dazzler. Also, the beginning of the fan-favorite Hellfire Club storyline. This book is probably in Fine condition, nearing Very Fine. On the cover, there are a couple of very minor dings and wrinkles in the spine. On the back cover someone has written "3.00" in the upper left hand corner. It's small, and looks like it was written in pencil. The inside looks great with nice off-white pages. Other than the writing on the back, a good looking book!
X-MEN #131 (1980)
This book is probably in Fine condition. There are a couple of some small dings and wrinkles on the front and back cover. There is a small tear in the top of the back cover. Nice off-white pages, with just a little yellowing. Also a nice looking book!
X-MEN #132 (1980)
I would probably say this book is in Very Fine condition. There are alomost no noticeable flaws on the front or back covers, just a slight scuff toward the bottom right hand side of the front cover. The inside pages are off-white. Nice!
X-MEN #133 (1980)
This book is in at least Fine condition, if not Very Fine. Some minor dings in the front cover, with just a couple of tiny wrinkles in the spine. Nice off-white pages. A very nice looking comic!
Please keep in mind I am not an expert comic book grader! However, with the value of these books, I do think some may be worthy of sending to CGC to be graded. All of these comics:
- Lay flat- Have both staples attached- No missing pages or cut outs- Off-white pages- Great color
Please check out the photos. These were taken in natural light, with no flash, so you get a good idea of what you're getting. For some reason, it appears that my lighting was a little darker on the left side of the photos in some shots, but rest assured, those comics don't look any darker than the others.
