Description

Welcome to Andy's Yard Sale!

This auction is for one(1) "The Spirit" 16-Page Sunday Comic Insert dated February 25, 1945.  This comic features the Spirit, Lady Luck,  Intellectual Amos and Jonesy.   Sections like these were inserted into the Sunday Comics of major newspapers between 1940 and 1952.  The Spirit and Lady Luck characters were created by Will Eisner, however staff assistants worked on this particular issue.  Lady Luck was notably worked on by Klaus Nordling.   Intellectual Amos was created by Andre LeBlanc while Jonesy was worked on by Bernard Dibble.   This section was a promotional giveaway by the Mutual Benefit Society of Baltimore Maryland.

The Comic Insert is Golden Age Comic Book size, Apprx 10" x 7 1/2".  This comic are in pretty nice condition.  I am conservatively grading it as Fine(FN).   The Paper quality is a supple cream color.  Print and Color registration is sharp although there some dark ink run apparent.   (see pics provided).

I can/will combine shipping on multiple auction victories.  I am quoting USPS 1st-Class Shipping.   Comic Books do not qualify for USPS Media Mail shipping.
