- Staples are shiny with no hint of rust ( see all photos )

- Most of these vintage mags are in the 6.5 FN+ to 9.0 VF/NM range ( individual grades listed above ) with a couple of mid-grade issues in the mix. All have great paper quality and no hidden defects.

- Issues #5, 7 & 8 appear to be in the 8.5 VF+ to 9.0 VF/NM range, but there are two tiny pieces of nearly invisible, unnecessary tape applied to the very top and bottom of the spines ( #8 also has tiny pieces of tape on the bottom edge of 3 pages ). We downgraded these to 6.5 FN+ in terms of pricing, but they look much nicer than the grades with flat covers and no reading dents.

- Issue #7 is an "All Ebony" special, #8 is a "Female Foes" special; #10 & 15 are "Giant Summer Specials" featuring the Origin of the Spirit and an Olga Bustle cover and story ( see photos )

We grade the entire book, not just the cover, and note qualities such as cover gloss, page color, and structural integrity. If we do make an error, you can return the book in same condition for a full refund of the purchase price.
