The Complete Kitchen Sink Post-War Spirit Series in Four Bound Volumes signed by Dennis Kitchen
The pages are trimmed, as is the standard for bound comic books. The comics are in Fine condition (if you don’t take into account the binding and trimming). The books are bound in black leather with gold lettering and trim on the spines and front covers. The book were bound by Potomac Bookbinders of Rockville Maryland. All pictures shown are of the actual items. Please review ALL pictures before bidding.
These four volumes are truly a labor of love. All four books are signed by Kitchen Sink publisher, Dennis Kitchen!
Volume One contains, issues #1 through 10 of the black & white series, Will Eisner’s The Spirit: The Origin Years. Also included in this volume are issues #1 through 11 of 1983 The Spirit series that began printing all of the post-war Spirit stories. These 11 issues are in color.
Volume Two continues the post-war Spirit series, in black & white with issues #12 to 39.
Volume Three has the post-war Spirit series, issues #40 through 64
Volume Four completes the series with issues #65 to 87. This includes Wally Wood's tenure on the Spirit. Volume Four also contains Will Eisner’s 3-D Classics Starring The Spirit #1. 3-D glasses are NOT included.
This will be shipped in a large, heavy box and is priced accordingly. Remember: If the price on the shipping label is more than $2.50 of what I charged for shipping, I will refund the difference.
We accept PayPal. We ship via USPS and only to the continental United States. Recently, the Postmaster wanted to tighten the reins of folk using media mail. Basically, anything insured for more than $50.00 is subject to inspection. I know how carefully and what I use for packaging. Although I would like to believe any inspected package would be repacked with care, I won’t take that chance. This means that books, magazines and comics that cost less than $50.00 will be shipped Media Mail and everything else is shipped via USPS Retail. Books will be insured and shipped within two days of receiving payment. We take pride in our packaging. We will absolutely combine shipping if you purchase more than one item in the same order.
