This auction is for the vol. 1 #2 May 1963 issue of Marvel Comics The AMAZING SPIDERMAN, featuring the VULTURE .
From the description of grading in the Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, I would rate this comic at GD. The Cover has normal signs of wear for a comic in this grade. Cover is attached at both staples with worn spine and staple tear, otherwise no tears. Front cover has chipped edges with crease marks and a 1/2" bug bore hole on bottom edge next to spine (see picture). Back cover has several crease marks with some sign of water staining near bottom at spine.Inside pages are cream in color with several pages having been dog-eared on bottom corner. Centerfold is firmly attached at both staples with a tear at top staple. Four pages have some minor staining toward bottom of sheets.The 2005 Overstreet price on this comic in good condition is $305.00 which, I'm sure, has increased in value over the past 3 years. The comic comes freshly bagged and boarded .
