Sinister Tales no.84 1965, Alan Class Comics
Believed to be the second ever reprint of Marvel Comics' Tales Of Suspense no.39, the first ever appearance of Iron Man "Iron Man Is Born!" by Stan Lee & Don Heck
This is the very rare, early Alan Class reprint of TOS no.39, the first appearance of Iron Man by Stan Lee & Don Heck. This is believed to be one the earliest reprints of TOS no.39 in the World, certainly the second British reprint by several years. What is particularly fascinating is that the story just appears without fanfare amongst the other reprints, which are "The Little Green Men" by Stan Lee & Steve Ditko, The Fly and several other stories featuring Dinosaurs, Westerns and Sci-Fi!
Condition: lovely high grade VF+ copy - very nice condition particularly for Alan Class comics of this era - great colour and cover gloss; squarebound spine fully complete with just slight rippling and a very light crease; light non-colour breaking creases and surface touches on cover; back cover and inside covers are white!
About as nice a copy as you will find - certainly for a Alan Class comic of this age
