What I like about this book is Wagner's attempts to stick to the character's pulp roots while bringing the character forward. COOL STUFF, and Schkade does a respectable job channeling Eisner's art while still trying to maintain an individual identity.
Almost as much fun as the stories are the covers by Eric Powell!
