We've come across some pretty interesting books in buys over the years, but never one as iconic as this. The first issue of Stan Lee's Fantastic Four. This is an original, not a reprint. While technically ungraded, it won't take a genius to see that this is somewhere between Fair and Good although some opinions may differ. Granted, I'm no professional grader (few comic sellers here on eBay are), but I've seen this book in worse condition go for more than we're asking. Truth be told, if I didn't care about turnaround time (and more money spent) I'd send this one off to CGC and get full value for it. (The FMV is about $5,500.) There is nothing hidden, you see it all with these pictures. (If you didn't see the 2 1/2" closed tear on the front cover, you're not looking hard enough.) That triangular shaped area at the top of the spine (front, back, inside) is not a missing piece, it's a stain line. The last pic shows the book bagged and boarded, which looks a little dull under the plastic, but we just thought you should see it.

Knowing everything you know about this book now, you should also know that there are no returns on this item. It is complete and intact, sold "as is" with nothing hidden.
