Description

This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Marvel reached its peak of popularity and creativity during what's known as the "Silver Age" of comics - the Sixties and early Seventies. At the start of the Marvel era, they had been publishing a bunch of anthology horror comics, and when they came up with a bunch of superheros in the early Sixties, they simply placed them in those horror series as a featured story. Thus, Tales Of Suspense became the home of Iron Man. Later on, Marvel crammed two superhero characters into each of these comics (Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspense, and Strange Tales), with each issue taken up by two separate installments in the continuing adventures of two different characters. Tales Of Suspense played host to Iron Man, and then Iron Man sharing the title with Captain America. Here I have Tales Of Suspense #98, dated February 1968! It's in very nice condition overall, showing light wear, and with off-white pages - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
