A limited edition lithograph issued in 1996. "Superman: Daily Planet" in a 3-D shadowbox frame. Measures 25 1/4" x 25 3/4" x 2".
"This print reunites Curt Swan (penciller) and Murphy Anderson (inker), the classic art team who brought Superman into the 1970s and who were often credited under the single name 'Swanderson'. These two artists began working together in the pages of Action Comics and Superman . Curt Swan was considered the Man of Steel's top artist in the 1960s and 1970s, bringing a sense of realism and liveliness to the characters. Murphy Anderson's sensitive brush work added new realism and detail to Curt's illustrations and together they were perhaps the most accomplished team to illustrate Superman.
The artwork for this image was inspired by the covers of the Silver Age years. To create this limited edition, Curt Swan illustrated Superman and Murphy Anderson inked the illustration. The Daily Planet newspaper is a key element from the Superman storyline and selected for use in this image for its strong graphic presence.
This piece is number 170 in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces."
Includes certificate of authenticity. Be sure to see my other listings for more great Superman items!!! Combined shipping on multiple wins.  It has been encased in UV-A/UV-B protection since its opening and is in near pristine condition.
