Over 50 years ago, comics cost 12 cents. Each week, I'd rush down to the drug store to check the comics rack. I knew every month I'd find some action... Action Comics, that is.
These four Silver Age beauties star the Man of Steel, Superman, and also include stories featuring his cousin, Supergirl.
The oldest of the comics has the origin/first appearance of Comet, the Super-Horse.
The heroes are up against foes like Lex Luthor, Captain Incredible, the Mighty Annihilator, and the first "reality show" host, Allen Funt, who actually headlined the popular 60s TV show, "Candid Camera."
They will be a window into the past and a nice addition for your collection.
