This is a nice example of Strange Tales #178 published by Marvel in 1975. It features the re-intro and origin of Adam Warlock and the first appearance of Magus. This is the start of the storyline by Jim Starlin that introduces Gamora and Pip the Troll among others and really fleshes out the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe.
Condition-wise, this is not in great shape, but it's in okay shape for an older comic. The book is complete and lays flat, no tears, no writing, no missing pages. It does have some significant scuffing on the front cover as well as several spine dings. There are also a few small bends. The cover is still firmly attached though and despite the damage, the book still displays nicely. The back is mainly dirty and could really benefit from dry cleaning. Take a look at the pictures and please assess condition for yourself, but I would grade this one right at a VG/FN 5.0. This is a great chance to get a key book at a reasonable price and this book is only going to take off when Warlock appears in the MCU.
