This is The Amazing Spiderman Bronze Statue by Randy Bowen #98/100. 17 lbs of cold cast bronze on Italian marble. Made in 1997 and sold out the first day. In 2005 I had this repainted by the ORIGINAL artist who worked on these in '97. His name is Bart and works at Parks Foundry in Oregon. This is the foundry that cast these bronzes for Bowen. I thought the original colors looked faded and dull and he agreed and recommended a more metallic red and blue. When i got it back i was blown away. Compare these pics to the ones on the april 29 auction that ended at 10k. I also sent this to Bowen Studios to get a replacement COA since i lost the original and when i got it back Randy had sketched a Spiderman Bust on the bottom of the marble base and signed it! I lost the COA again but one can be obtained by using the same process. I do have the original plain white box it came in. I've had this displayed in a curio since '05 so its not flawless and never displayed but IMHO it is an AWESOME Spiderman collectible. Never thought I'd sell but a wedding looms in the distance...lmk of any questions and please reasonable offers only:)
