Up for auction is a Marvel Tales of Suspense #98 "Cap vs. The Panther!" February 1968 Fine 6.0 condition and likely better. See my comments. Keep in mind, I'm not a professional grader, but I have had the experience of grading hundreds of my dads collection and you can see that from my other auctions and feedback I take great care in assessing the comic book. I am working off of the Ebay Pricing Guide, so please refer to it is for reference. I try to be as conservative as possible and the imperfections for this copy are as follows;
Very good to excellent color and reflectivity. Very minor stress creases and color breaks along spine with minor bottom and top spine blunting. Top edge right two indents with two minor tears to left and slight creases at left of top edge. Dimple under stamp, on shield and caps right leg with color break. Bottom right corner tip color breaks minor to blunted tip. Minor crease at left of bottom edge with slight color break. Minor crease in certain light with slight color break at bottom right edge and matte stain at shield and near stamp at top right corner. Pin-head indent under Cap's right glove. back cover shows some spotting at top left corner and edge with light foxing at bottom edge where soft crease to minor creases from slight rollover are. Very minor creases at top edge rollover as well. Minor stress creases along spine, with minor fray at bottom staple and discoloration at top staple. Insert paper is off-white to cream and supple. Complete, nice copy!
There is no reserve on this auction so you'll get a great price on this one! It needs a good new home with someone who appreciates this comic. I will ship to Europe and Canada but please don't use the Global Shipping Program which is extremely expensive. I'll work out the cost for you which will be far more reasonable.
