Most of our items are purchased from estate sales or auctions and are vintage, pre-owned and used.  We do our best to describe each item in detail and provide pictures that feature any defects or issues that we are aware of.  We are not experts, just collectors and we welcome questions and comments.

Description

These comic books are from the estate of a comic book collector, and we will be liquidating the collection over the next several months.  We have not had any of the books graded, but they have all been stored in carded bags for many, many years.  Please look at the photos and read the descriptions.  We will try to note any issues the books may have.  Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.

Up for auction is a pair of three silver age Marvel Comics 'The Amazing Spider-Man' No. 56 & 57.  Included in the lot;

- No. 56 January 1968 "Disaster!", 1st appearance of Captain George Stacy - the front cover shows wear with ink outlining of Spider-Man and the words 'the Amazing Spider-Man' and an inked name.  There is also a small stamped 'H'.  There are fold marks and creases, and the top edge is rough with creases. The back has staining along the spine and light fold marks.  The cover has come loose from the original staples and there are two small staples that were added. One inside page has a small corner fold.

- No. 57 February 1968 "The Coming of Ka-Zar!", KaZar and Zabu appearance - the front cover shows light wear with small fold creases at both corners. The spine has tiny creases and very small holes at the staples.   

All the books are in good condition with wear to the covers.  Unless noted above, there are no tears to the inside pages.  The books are all complete with no missing pages or cut-outs.

Payment

We accept PayPal for payment on auctions and Buy-It-Now items.  We ask that all items be paid for within four days, unless you are bidding on another item ending within the next seven days. Combined shipping is a great way to save a few dollars.  If you are bidding on other items from our store, please contact us so that we won’t ask eBay to open an ‘Unpaid Item Case’.   Buy-It-Now means just that, and we ask that you please pay for those items right away.  We will send an invoice for items with combined shipping costs and also to international buyers.   Other buyers, please let us know if you would like an invoice.

Shipping

We ship Monday through Friday, within one business day of receiving PayPal confirmation.  We usually offer options for shipping methods, so please check before you pay. We will gladly combine multiple items won or purchased.  We use eBay’s shipping calculator and do not charge additional shipping or handling fees.  The calculator is usually right on, based on the size and weight entered.  However, if we find that the actual cost to ship the package is less than what you paid, we will refund the difference.  We use eBay shipping labels so you have access to your tracking number as soon as it is printed.

International

We welcome international bidders and ask that you abide by the customs regulations of your country.  Please do not ask us to change the customs form, as it is against all customs regulations as well as eBay policy.  Some items are just too big to ship and we try to block those.  We apologize if we miss any.  Any item that bids up to $100.00 or more will be shipped USPS Priority Mail International so we can track and insure the item.  Please contact us if you have any questions on shipping costs.

Returns

We will gladly accept returns within fourteen (14) days of your receipt of the item.  As long as the item is returned in the same condition, with original packaging if possible, we will issue a full refund of your purchase.   You will be responsible for return shipping.  Our feedback testifies to the quality of our packing and accurate item descriptions, however, if your item was damaged in shipping or we misrepresented the item, we ask that you please contact us immediately, before you leave feedback, so we can resolve the issue quickly and to everyone’s satisfaction.  We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and value your positive 5-star feedback.  We only ask that you give us a chance to make it right before you leave negative or neutral feedback or low DSR ratings.
