Description

It's the HULK from the Mighty Avengers!

This is a ONE OF A KIND original Marvel Comics color guide art page that was used in the direct production of the 1979 INCREDIBLE HULK issue 235 comic book by Marvel's Production Staff. This 1970's Hulk story featured art by Sal Buscema, and the Marvel colorist for this 70's Hulk story was George Roussos.

This Incredible Hulk color guide artwork measures about 10 inches by 6 3/4 inches, and color guide artwork is not graded like comic books are. This is normal because color guides were never meant to be saved back in the old days before comics were colored by computers, and they're 1 of a kind. There will never be another original color guide of this page in existence.

NOTE: Color guides/colorist's artwork are re-sized copies of the pencil and ink original artwork that are assigned to the issue's colorist, and then hand colored by that colorist. Colorguides measure about the same size as the published comic book, and some have "color codes" for the printers to follow. Computer coloring has made hand painted colorist artwork extinct and now highly collectible!
