Metal Men 1 - DC Silver Age Key Comic Graded CGC 7.0

First issue of the Metal Men DC silver age series, after they were given their own series following their successful introduction in Showcase (I will shortly have up for sale the very first appearance of the Metal Men in Showcase #37); this comic is a nice CGC 7.0 with the highest grade of interior page color; it presents very well and has no significant flaws; it's 7.0 grade is only the result of some very 'even' general wear along the spine, edges, and corners; a very close inspection will reveal some light stress marks on the spine and the very beginnings of a spine split at the top (only 1/8th inch); this is a nice copy of a currently underappreciated silver age book that is not as common as so many others. The last sale of a CGC 7.0 Metal Men #1 that I saw was November 2013 on Heritage Auctions; it went for $280, which was basically guide price. I ship fully insured with signature required; I pay the excess shipping cost above the flat $5.99 for graded comics. I am obsessive about my packaging, having spent the last several years as an active eBay comic buyer and having had both great and poor packaging experiences. The way I package, it'll have to be run over by a tank to be damaged. I don't accept returns on graded comics for what I hope are obvious reasons (which I understood when I was a buyer), so please understand that this comic, like all others I have for sale, will have the flaws associated with the assigned grade.
