We got a late night call on Sunday night from a gentlem an is the upper midwest with a mostly higher grade Marvel silver age and bronze age collection with nearly 1,000 comics. He said the magic words, X-Men #1, Incredible Hulk #181 and Giant-Size X-Men #1. The next day we boarded an early morning flight at LaGuardia airport and were on our way. When we arrived, he greeted us at the door and led us down to te basement. In a nice cool room, we found his collection in 10 short boxes. This was a no-brainer, we knew we wanted it and all that was left was to close the deal. After a hour of discussion and negotiation, we closed the deal and loaded the collection into our SUV. This collection is loaded with key issues and number one issues and is a re-sellers dream. This fantastic collection has a retail value of nearly $32,000!
