Marvel Movie Copper Age Comic Collection Lot Spider-Man Avengers X-Men Hulk

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp ALL MARVEL COPPER AGE COMIC COLLECTION CONSISTING OF 1,723 HIGHER GRADE ISSUES. Purchased from a family where the father worked at a distribution company and brought home comics for his son; plus the son also spent money at the local comic shop expanding the collection on his own.

The hottest section across all the characters in comics right now is 1980s Copper Age. There is a huge surge in popularity because collectors have realized these comics are now 30 years old. There's a nostalgia component because collectors in their mid 30's into early 40's remember buying these issues as kids, and young adult collectors can't all afford 1960's silver age and 1970's bronze age high grade issues; so the next most affordable oldest coolest faction of comics is copper age -- which by the way, are hard to find in any concentration in 1 shot. Compound the variables I just went over, with the MARVEL MOVIES taking over pop culture, and you have a cynergy effect of super high demand within a large audience purchasing affordable "vintage" higher grade comics which won't break their bank accounts. We have noticed this trend building quietly over the last 9 months and now the marketplace has responded and is starting to EXPLODE. If you spot check the Overstreet Price Guide on issues I have listed below and compare the CGC 9.8 potential value price, you will notice a massive difference. Issues are in the guide for $5 each and then they sell CGC'd for $50 to $500 each --- the guide is way behind the market demand. The total CGC 9.8 value of just the top 364 key comics alone in this collection adds up to $45,000...Plus in addition, the 1,359 run filling issues have now become solid $5.00 bills/each worth another $6,795 total. As we were preparing the inventory notes and sorting this collection for auction, I noticed 9.8 potential left and right because many of the issues here are unread.
