A set of ELEVEN MARVEL HERO FOR HIRE (LUKE CAGE) comics, issues 1 - 12, excepting issue 10 [1972-73]. This is a classic Bronze Age lot including, obviously, the *key issue* of FIRST APPEARANCE OF LUKE CAGE -- as well as a near-complete run up to issue 12. Other first appearances include Diamondback, Doctor Burstein, DW Griffith, Black Mariah -- and more! Artwork on the famous #1 issue from John Romita!
I consider these comics to be in excellent condition and have taken photos to represent their condition accurately -- more photos can be requested if necessary -- I've been selling my large, mostly Bronze Age collection through the year and my feedback reflects the high condition of my comics -- this has been in my possession since publication and comes 'bagged and boarded.'
I'm getting down to the end of the lots I'm trying to move from my collection, so I'm pricing the remaining sets very affordably. Great for collectors!
