This collection not only has an epic array of vintage books, but a great story to go with it. We received a phone call from a family living in a remote area of North West Maine. The caller told us that they had the first Spiderman and man other books, but didn’t know much else about what was in the collection. Imagine our surprise when we finally arrived at the log cabin, only to venture inside and find this impressive collection of vintage comic books nestled securely in cedar chests. As we started going through the chests we found the Amazing Spiderman #1 quickly and figured this was what the seller was talking about when they said they had the first Spiderman. Moments later we came across the copy of Amazing Fantasy #15, after discussing what this book was both the sellers our ourselves had a big smile on our faces. Amazing Fantasy #15 has absolutely skyrocketed in value over the last 10 years, with exponential growth in the last 2 years. Last month a 2.0 (Good) copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 sold for over $10,000!!! The copy in this collection is in similar condition, however it has some minor color touch. The value of this copy of AF #15 is worth no less than $5000, likely more.
