Scarce magazine-sized British comic featuring the 1st appearance of Wolverine - with cover and strip from Incredible Hulk no.181
This book is becoming ever-more desirable as the price of Hulk no.181 continues to grow. A CGC graded 9.6 NM+ sold at auction for £484 recently - another (or perhaps the same) copy is currently listed at £1,500+ on ebay USA!!! Looking at the few others listed now, this is certainly the best copy available after the 9.6!
Higher grade copies are proving very difficult to find, particularly as most copies have "newsagent marks" on their covers. This is one of the nicest I've owned!
These are very scarce comics magazines, particularly in higher grade - all had a reletively low print-run and they were not distributed outside the UK.
When you do find them, most copies are well-read, have newsagent marks and / or missing centrefolds
This is an excellent copy!
