The end result was Mark 42 that was made of different components that could each be activated independently. This Extremis Armour or the "Prodigal Son" helped Tony to defeat his biggest enemy Aldrich Killian, else known as the Mandarin.
This sleek Iron Man Mark 42 Figurine captures the battered and scarred armour during the battle with Aldrich Killian as seen in the Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3. Unlike its predecessors, it has a darker he for the red and a lighter colour for the gold plating with the design being reversed from the original.
