We received a hand-written list in the mail from an old time collector who did not have a computer or cell phone. The list was well written on 20 pages. The first 3 pages listed his better comics. After scanning the list, it was clear that it was worth the effort to drive down to Delaware if he was realistic with how much he was looking for the collection. The first call went reasonably well and we agreed to talk after the weekend. After a few more calls, we packed up and hit the road. Over 5 hours later, we arrived at his modest house at the end of a long driveway. Within seconds, we could see we were dealing with another hoarder type collector. We looked thru the comics as well as the rest of the house and loaded the SUV up with his comics and some other goodies and headed back up north. With over 800 comics almost all from the 1950s and 1960s, this collection has a retail value of nearly $42,500!

  For USA packages UNDER $1000, we ship priority mail with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation. For USA orders OVER $1,000, we ship Fed Ex with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation. For higher value packages of $5000 and up we ship Fed Ex 2-day express with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation. And finally, for the really expensive packages, we ship Fed Ex overnight express with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation.
