Just picked up a decent lot of farm fresh 1960’s Marvel superhero that has never been in a collector’s hands, so I can start these all at .99 with no reserve… AVENGERS #1, poor condition reading copy - the perfect gift for the man who doesn’t want to crack open that 8.5 that’s slabbed in the safe. Looks like it got close to a fire, but some pimply faced teenager actually had the sense to save it! All pages are here and cover and centerfold are NOT loose, but the damage has encroached into some of the panels. I have shown pictures of all the worst pages where it is in the panels; the pages that are not shown only have damage into the margins. The first pages are the worst, then the pages get progressively better toward the back, with the rear cover looking fairly unscathed.
