*PLEASE SEE PHOTOS! Most comics have wear and are in good to great condition. Some comics may come bagged and boarded and all have been stored in a non-smoking environment. You may not receive the exact cardboard box pictured, however, the pictures below are samples of some of the titles you will receive in this lot.

*DC Comics, founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson, is one of the largest, and oldest, comic book publishers who paved the way for many characters to come. Starting with the classic Action Comics and Detective Comics, many characters would continue to spawn out of books and evolve as time continued on to become what we now know as the Justice League. Having some of the most iconic characters in the Justice League to fight the evils of the Legion of Doom, DC has easily created some of the best superheroes as well as supervillains. The stories carried such larger than life tales of godlike characters like The Flash, Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, and Aquaman, fighting some of the most iconic villains like Lex Luthor, Reverse Flash, The Joker, Sinestro, Brainiac, Black Manta, Deathstroke, and so many more. In addition their more experimental titles and line of Vertigo comics paved the way from the goofier antics of the Golden and Silver ages through to the Bronze and Modern eras. Titles such as Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Hellblazer, Swamp Thing, Sandman, and the Dark Knight Returns helped to redefine aspects of the genre and push comic books further into what we now recognize as comics. DCs history of over 80 years can be felt throughout all mediums and will continue to stand the test of time.
*Established in 1961 and originally founded as Timely Comics by Martin Goodman in 1939, Marvel comics is one of the largest comic book publishers, putting out some of the most iconic characters that are now known as household names. The publisher as we now know it has been around for almost 60 years, and had some catching up to do with its competitor DC Comics. Stories told in the Marvel universe opted for a different approach of being more focused on personal issues and bringing real heart to the characters that they would feature. This brought a lot of credibility as comic books continued to evolve into being more than just something “for kids”. This approach helped differentiate from the competition and led to Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, The Punisher, The Silver Surfer, Thor, Captain America, and The Fantastic Four being the names they are today. Of course without the dastardly villains these heroes wouldn’t have good stories to tell, fighting the likes of The Green Goblin, Doctor Doom, Galactus, Doctor Octopus, Magneto, Red Skull, Loki, Kingpin, and so many others. These characters have lent themselves to some of the most memorable fights and conflicts that would continue to influence mediums in and out of the comic book world, this has been felt for the past 60 years and will continue far into the future.

Return Policy:
Bellevue Rare Coins has a 14 calendar day return policy. All returns must be shipped within 14 calendar days of receiving the product.
- All returned coins must be in their original packaging.
- All return requests must be made within 14 calendar days of customer receiving the merchandise.
- When returning merchandise, please include the item number, as this will expedite the refund process.
