For your consideration are the first FIVE issues of the Sunday insert "The Spirit" by Will Eisner. The dates are June 2, 1940, June 9, 1940, June 16 , 1940, June 23 , 1940, and June 30, 1940. These inserts have two holes punched in them as a result of their being bound in a binder. Each has a number at the top of the first page written in pencil. I have not attempted to erase it. The first issue also has some "doodle" marks in pencil as well. Page one of the first issue has several tears and a hole which may be visible from the pic. The other pages are in fairly good condition. I do not see any tears or missing pages in the rest of the issues. Issue ONE did not fair as well as the others since it was at the top of the binder.
I have most of the issues of the The Spirit from this first two years of it publication and will sell them on ebay if interest is shown.
