This week, I am offering a nice selection of low grade, but complete and affordable, classic early FF’s with stories by Stan Lee and art by Jack Kirby. This issue #4 has the first silver age appearances of the Sub-Mariner. I will try to list all the defects:

1.Covers.

a. Front.

1)      Top right corner chip missing.

2)      1 inch bottom right piece missing.

3)      Assorted wrinkles and creases.

1)      Wear along the top and right edges.

2)      Name stamp below word balloon.

a.       Spine – Completely split, detached and reattached with archival tape.

b.      Inside pages

1)      Off-white.

2)      Many pages have long(3-4 inches) tears off the middle edge. They have been sealed with tape, but several of them have ink scribbled along the actual tears(see pictures).

While this comic may look Good Minus(1.8), I would grade it at Fair (1.0).

To determine the starting price, I surveyed recent completed sales and current listings and came up with a figure that I think the item would sell. However, if there are no takers, I would consider any reasonable offers. Please contact me. NOTE: I forgot to mention that there is a tape stain on the front cover by the top staple. However, you can see it clearly from the picture. Apparently, there was a bit of old cellophane tape that fell off, but left the stain,
