My father and I have been selling on e-bay for years.  We understand the importance of grading as it relates to value and cost.  We have been collectors for years and there is nothing worse than receiving an item and the condition is less than expected.  We offer our opinion on the grade of a comic based on years of experience, each edition of the Overstreet Grading Guide, as well as personal ownership and comparison to professionally graded comics by CGC, CBCS, and PGX.  We also try to describe the comic and identify as many defects as possible.  We note any restoration that we are aware, cut outs, missing pages or pieces, and any other defects that within reason that affect the grade.  Most importantly we provide large scans of the front and back cover so that you may judge the condition for yourself and note any defects for yourself.  However, ultimately, grading is subjective and people do not always agree on the grade and we sometimes miss hidden defects.  As a result we offer full refunds within two weeks of sale for any reason including any shipping costs charged by us.  Please contact us immediately if you have any problems or complaints.
Shipping costs have become more expensive in recent years and it is impossible for us to offer free shipping for many items.  Our packaging cost and first class postage is usually close to 5.00.  We charge 4.00 per item for shipping which includes First Class Mail with the United States Postal Service and materials.  We ship most items bagged and boarded and placed between two pre-cut pieces of cardboard in a manila envelope.  For more expensive items we generally include extra cardboard and/or use a comic mailer.  We will ship using any service requested including priority mail and insurance when requested at additional cost.  Please feel free to ask any questions.
