Here’s one of the holy grails of silver age comic collecting, the first appearance of the Black Panther, one of the hottest characters in comics, TV and movies! This book was graded and slabbed in October of 2016. At launch time it’s the lowest priced Buy It Now copy in this grade on eBay and is offered at less than recent sale prices price - so why bid? As CGC collectors know, the CGC casing (commonly called a slab) can create reflections and distortions on the scanner. I’m happy to take pictures of any areas you may want to see in more detail. My scanner is not large enough to capture full slabbed book, so I had these scanned, but I later noticed they didn’t clean the scanner bed so fingerprints, etc on the uncleaned scanning bed may appear in the scans. My apologies!

We ship in boxes very similar in size and shape to those that CGC uses. All books are fully insured and higher priced items will require a signature. 

All CGC comics ship slabbed & in the original outer bags from CGC to protect the slab from scuffs. We will reinforce your item with cardboard and wrap it in bubble wrap, filling in the box with packing peanuts for a secure, well-protected fit. 

A CGC slabbed book in this type of packing weighs about 3lbs, and the insurance cost is built into shipping, so S&H may be higher than you’re used to. On a $3000 comic, the cost of insurance and signature confirmation is Over $40, and that’s before cost of materials, labor, or even the shipping itself! 

That said, all this ensures your purchase has the very best chance of arriving intact and everyone getting fully refunded if it does not.

International customers, there may be rare cases where we cannot insure an item for it’s full value to your country. If that is the case, we will of course refund your payment in full upon making that determination. Different destinations have different limits on insurance values and in some cases the items can only be insured for full value if they are sent by express. In those cases, we will inform you of your options before refunding.

OUR HOURS:  We usually work a normal 5 day week, Monday-Friday, 9:30 to 5:30.  If we are closed during normal business hours, you will see a notice on our listings page (usually by the listing title).  We will respond to all e-mails, but typically answers will take 24 hours to arrive.  Do not expect a response after hours or during the weekends or holidays.

SHIPPING METHODS: We use USPS for most shipments. In some cases we may use UPS instead, especially if the package is large or oversized, so don't take the shipping method listed as gospel - your purchase could be sent by either carrier, but the majority go by USPS.

SHIPPING FEES:  We try hard to only charge actual cost + a fee of no more than $2.00 to cover materials, time, & other costs associated with each sale.  On most items, we undercharge.

COMBINING SHIPPING:  We are happy to do this for all customers, unless specifically stated in the listing, or if the items cannot be shipped together (for instance it's hard to send posters and records in the same package without damaging them, you get the drift).

PAYMENT TIMELINE: Since we only accept PayPal, there's no reason that payment can't be made at the moment of purchase. We allow a 48 hour period to make a payment from the end of the auction (or, in the case of multiple purchases, 48 hours after you get an invoice with combined shipping, if shipping can be combined).

SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS:  Items must ship by Priority Mail or better.

Priority is usually faster than 1st Class and includes insurance, but it costs more - minimum cost for a one pound package to even a nearby country like Canada is over $20, and it goes up from there.  EMS is faster, includes insurance and tracking, and is usually more expensive.

VALUES ON CUSTOMS FORMS & CUSTOMS FEES: We will NOT falsify customs forms for anyone - EVER!  We buy plenty of stuff from around the world and sympathize with Customs fees, but don't ask or expect us to lie for you. If you have to pay customs and / or other fees in your country, this is your responsibility - not ours.  If an item sent internationally is returned to us because the buyer refuses to accept it or to pay fees imposed by your local government or delivery service, we will not refund the S&H costs if the

item is returned to us.  Again, these costs are the buyer's responsibility, not the seller's.

DELIVERY TIMES:  International Deliveries face various potential roadblocks that domestic shipments do not – customs officials & inspections in particular – so we cannot guarantee that any package will arrive within a specified period of time.  Most packages do arrive within the estimates.
