Fantastic Four #4 1st Appearance Sub-Mariner 1962 1.0 - 1.5 Pinup Intact. Nice looking low grade, but complete book. Piece missing from the back cover. Spine wear and split/ tear at the bottom of the spine. There is a one inch tear at the top of the cover going into the F in the “Four”. The staple is detached at the top because of the missing back cover piece. The bottom staple is still attached but with tearing at the staple. Marvel chipping and some small tears on the edge of some interior pages. Off white to cream interior pages. The centerfold is securely attached to the staples. Page # 10 has a very small corner piece missing. The staples are clean with no apparent or noticeable rust. The interior of the cover and the back cover has some foxing/ oxidation. There are many tiny tears and chips. Nice eye appeal for a low grade book. No restoration that I can detect and no missing pages. Great mega key 1st Silver Age Sub-Mariner! As with any low grade book it is nearly impossible to list all the flaws. I did take many detailed pictures and mentioned as many flaws as I could. I will ship for free with Priority Mail. I will box the book and packaged well with thick cardboard. I lowered the price. I believe the book is competitively priced and will probably increase in value as soon as Sub-Mariner is announced to be in a Marvel movie.
