Fantastic Four #13 from 1963 has one of the best Kirby covers ever with stories by Stan Lee featuring the Red Ghost in his first appearance as well. The Watcher, who also appears in one of my other comics I have up for sale right now also makes his first appearance, making this a Key book indeed!! Early Marvel doesn't get much better than this. The book is in solid condition with a strong spine and some light transverse pressure creases. The only real problem is the Marvel chipping at the right edge as seen in the pics with some creasing in the lower right corner. " Marvel Chipping " is very prevalent on these early books and has become a bit of an " Insiders Earmark " of recognition being that it's so universal with these early books. Everything is firmly attached with clean offwhite pages. Even the ad pages are exceptional with the page saying "Now on Sale" and showing the Amazing Spiderman #1 and Tales of Suspense #39, ( first app. of Ironman, for the uninitiated ). A VG- because of the chipping.
