(TT) Here’s a group of FANTASTIC FOUR comics, consisting of issues #48, 49 and 50, dated March, April and May, 1966, published by the Marvel Comics Group. These comics have been in a private collection for over 25 years and are now being offered on eBay with NO RESERVE! FANTASTIC FOUR #48 is of lesser condition than the other issues. The spine is rough with several separations along the spine area and a 1/2" x 1/2" piece missing at top of spine (see photos). The cover is still attached at the staples. Spine roll apparent along with a couple of horizontal creases apparent in the upper logo area of front cover. Couple of edge tears present on front and back cover edges. Age discoloration apparent on the inside covers but interior paper is very supple. I'd call this one a GOOD to VERY GOOD.  Issue #49 is much nicer, with just a slight spine roll. Original staples are tight with cover gloss intact. Just a little bit of color abrasion wear apparent at spine area but no tears or separations. A very small corner chip is off front cover at lower right. Back cover is beautiful. Some age discoloration apparent on inside covers but interior paper is very supple. Original staples are holding tight. I'm calling this one VERY GOOD PLUS.

Issue #50 has original cover gloss intact, and original staples holding everything tight. Some color abrasion wear apparent along spine area but no splits or tears. Some soiling present along lower edges of back cover. Light age discoloration apparent on inside covers but interior paper is very supple and looking good. A nice copy! I'm calling this one a VERY GOOD PLUS.
