DC Special Series # 6: Secret Society of Super-Villains,  DC Comics, 1977!!

 This is in NM condition by Overstreet's grading standards and retains full Color & Gloss, sits Flat and are very clean with all pages are white & complete, lightly read once and then put in plastic!

 This Giant-Sized  Issue features the story of Captain Comet, recently returned to Earth from deep space, and corralled unknowingly to help the Super-Villains against the Justice League, until he realizes his mistake, contacts the JL of A, is given a communication device and sent back to infiltrate them--until they find out & they attack him and Gorilla Grodd gives him a concussion!

 Awaking, Funky Flashman meets him,  tells him the SSOSV is about to attack the League, and faster than you can say "'Nuff Said", Capt. Comet begins searching for the Justice League!

 Batman & Superman take on Sinestro & Grodd, until Poison Ivy KISSES Batman and he dies!!

 Green Lantern gets attacked by Bizarro, Grodd, Ivy & Sinestro and gets whooped!

 Wonder Woman gets attacked at the U.N. Building by Angle-Man & the rest, who next target Barry Allen, The Flash!

 Batman is revived, who was only in a state of status, as the JLA finally overcomes the Villains with only heroic effort!!
