Action comics 2nd Appearance of Superman
This is very hard to find Just hard as Action comics 1
CGC have graded 42 of this issue ,22 not restored and 20 Restored
i had this before grading .im not trying to say these guy don't know their job ,but now ans again they get it wrong
but the slightly brittle pages baffled me and even the previous owner before me was amazed.
but i am not surprised they may get things wrong and depends on the grader at the time.
A i had a AM15 3.0 Which came back with slightly Brittle pages ,i left it for a year and sent it back to be re graded ,it came back as a 3.5 off white page no mention the 2nd time around that it had brittle pages
i knew about the restoration when i sent it off ,i'm fine with this ,but can't get my head around the mention of Brittle pages
Case in the new style CGC case kept in the clear bag provided by CGC
I'm OK with this being restored,Etc
But the comics collectors are not so acceptable to comic
i would now class these golden age book as Fine art as a collector
And they are on there way to becoming an Antique
if you found a Rembrandt ,Picasso Etc and it is was in need of restoration ,when it's done, it increases the value not go down .
I don't find this any different it's keep these Great book alive
