The very first ultra-rare issue of the classic British Commando comic still running today. This is an original owner copy new to the market.
Lovely solid bright and colourful copy with tight spine, no writing, no tape - and no missing or loose pages - great all round eye-appeal.
Condition - please look at the pics in detail - the back cover and insides are excellent, the spine is very respectable - most flaws can be seen on front cover, "crack" on squarebound spine (on cloud just above price circle), very small triangle chips off both bottom corners of front cover, tear / ding in right margin mid-way up, vertical spine crease on cover near spine and several spine tics - but overall one of the nicest copies I have ever seen. Certainly can be classed as an attractive and collectible copy well into the mid-grades. Genuinely looks fantastic from rear!
I'm sure you'll have seen Phil-Comics' "Fair" copy selling for an impressive £415 recently. That copy was in a significantly lower grade than this one with taped spine and worn back cover.
I will let run at 99p but I will pull this auction if it's not moving as expected.
