Up for bid is a five comic lot Captain Marvel # 53, 54, 55, 56, and 57. (1st series, 1968).

I'm not a professional grader and I am not going to learn to grade since I'm selling off my collection and won't be buying comics ever again. I hate the fact that I bought my comics to read and now I have to give my grade opinion to sell. Here's my opinion.

53 Nice flat comic. Don't see any flaws. Very Fine or better.

54 Nice comic. The spine looks slightly flat. There is slightly indentations that look like they were pressed against something. Probably read a couple times. Probably fine or better.

55 Nice comic. At least Fine but probably Very Fine or better.

56 Nice flat comic but 53-55 look better. Look like it was read a few times because there are tiny creases on the spine. The white areas on the both covers appear slightly off white from age.

57 Nice comic. The worst thing I see is on the back cover there is about a 1" square area that's rippled. There's no stain there or I would say it's from water. The spine has a few creases from reading but not barely noticeable unless held at a angle. I would say Very Fine or better. Cover is still shiny.

All my comics come bagged and boarded and protective by cardboard on both sides when shipped.

I am selling my comic book collection but unfortunately I don’t know how to grade. So you’ll have to use your own judgment from my scans and bid accordingly. If asked I may try to grade or look for flaws if asked but I'm not a professional grader.

They don’t want people to know what they paid for a coin or comic so they don’t want feedback. Payment (Payable in US funds): Ebay policy requires payment by Paypal.

Items purchased will only be sent to purchasers Paypal address. Ebay rules allow me to open and unpaid item claim within 4 days of nonpayment. If you can't pay within 4 days contact me. Why do I do this? Ebay has rules to protect the buyer but they also have rules to protect the seller. Some buyers wait weeks to pay and never contact me. I am not an Auction house. I'm just a guy selling off a collection to raise some money.

Shipping I ship the next business day. But if an auction ends on a Friday or Saturday night I will mail item Saturday or Sunday morning at the Boston Post Office. I ship to the US only.

Return policy: Item may be returned for a refund within 14 days. Buyer pays return shipping. The item must be undamaged and in its original holder. No partial refunds on items sold in lots.
