  This auction is for a very nice copy of Captain America number 118 from October of 1969, featuring the second appearance of the Falcon. Overall grade of Very Fine Minus. I urge you to examine the photo-scans to form your own opinion. I hesitate to assign grades, but I know it is helpful to the buyer. My assignment of a grade to these comics might not agree with yours, but I have taken the time to detail what is wrong with them, so you will know what you are buying. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged and boarded, but you will most likely want to put a new bag and board on them, the one it is in now is for protection, not looks.   GRADE/CONDITION: Front Cover:This book has about seven tiny 1/16" stress lines that exhibit little or no ink loss. There is a light 1/16" crease in top right corner. There are two very minor printing wrinkles coming off of the right edge above and below the Falcon`s foot. One measures 2.5" and the other is 1.5". A lot of people don`t mention printing wrinkles, but I like to point them out, mainly because if I was buying a book that had one, then I would want to know before I bought it. Other than that the front cover has some minor overall wear, including some minor bend lines emanating from the left edge.  Back Cover: There is some minor edge ruffling along part of the top edge including a tiny 1/16" edge tear. there ia another tiny 1/16" edge tear in the right edge. Other than that the back cover has just some exceedingly minor overall wear, including light soiling near the top edge and inside the red box. There are two even smaller printing wrinkles on the back at left edge. Interior Pages: Pages are a nice off-white. Pages are nice and pliable. There is no brittleness. Overstreet #47 sets a value for this at about $47.00... Priced to sell!

Although I do offer combined shipping, I will not combine shipping for COMIC BOOK AUCTIONS with shipping for MELMAC AUCTIONS. Item will be sent through the mail via the USPS. MEDIA MAIL is the most economical way to ship these, so that is how they will likely ship, with tracking included. While this method is the cheapest it is also the slowest. Items COULD take ten days or so to arrive...

  ABSOLUTELY NO LOCAL PICK-UP. Please do not ask if item can be picked up locally. It can not.
