Offering a nice looking, but affordable gem for your collection, a CGC Certified Universal Grade issue of The Avengers #1 (September 1963) in 3.0 condition, with off-white pages. A solid copy of this key Silver Age comic book, featuring the origin and first appearance of the Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man, and Hulk!), with additional appearances by the Fantastic Four, Loki, and Teen Brigade. This vintage 12 cent issue was written by Stan Lee, with artwork and cover by Dick Ayers. Published by Marvel Comics.
