Beautiful QUALIFIED high-grade DC File Copy of More Fun #82 from 1942, featuring early Green Arrow & Aquaman appearances, as well as the first small logo cover!
Lovingly removed from a Bound File Volume, this beauty includes a brilliant Bernard Baily Spectre story, and Green Arrow meeting Robin Hood, not to mention other stellar goings on inside!
This lovely copy - the front cover is as glossy as the wartime day it was printed! - is from a DC File Volume, and anyone who has seen these formerly bound File beauties knows how gorgeous they are - we've sold Marvel Mysterys, All Americans and several Batmans from Bound File sets to many delighted buyers in the last few years.
Qualified books can be tricky to grade, and while the book has exceptional eye appeal, there ARE remnants of having been bound at one time as noted below.
The book is a QUALIFIED VF+ 8.5 with supple Off-White pages; slightly trimmed; staples removed; cover loose; spine heavily worn with splits & tears from binding; 1.5" tear at top of first page between the two EEs in GREEN.
But that cover - flat & glossy with newsstand-fresh inks just dripping off the page!
