Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Volume 1, #1, March 1986, First Edition, by Frank Miller with Klaus Janson and Lynn Varley, DC Comics, this comic has been stored for years, when I took the comic out, I noticed what appeared to be scuff marks on the cover, there shouldn't have been any marks at all from being stored. I carefully opened the cover and found the reason for the marks, it appears that there was some bindery glue ribboned from top to bottom in the front and back covers, see pictures 2 and 3, an obvious bindery error that has taken the value (I think?!?) from this TPB which has never been read; hence the low start price
