This is an incredible find! We were cleaning out an old estate in Vermont and found a big cedar chest filled with paper and old nick nacks and in an old dusty bag were Batman #1,2,3,4, & 9 wrapped in newspaper from the 1960s. These comics have not seen the light of day in nearly 55 years! Its always a major occassion when you find a Batman #1 in any condition. These examples are not complete but they are fresh to market and would make anyone's day to own. We have carefully gone through the comics and described each in detail. Batman #1 has seen a meteoric rise in value over the past few years and will continue to go up in value for years to come. With any complete Batman #1 going for well north of $25,000, here is your chance to acquire a showpiece and holy grail!! Batman #1: This example has 32 original pages including the front cover. There is no back cover and the following stories are included: Both Joker Stories (Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder, The Joker Returns), The legend of Batman, and Major Bigsbe n’ Botts. The Catwoman Story and the Giants of Hugo Strange Story are missing. The pages are slightly brittle and there is glue on the inside of the front cover. The Back cover is also missing. Batman #2: This example has 32 of the 34 original pages including the front cover. The back cover is a golden age cover but not the original cover to Batman #2. The first and 4th Batman stories are complete and present. The middle 2 Batman Stories are stories from Detective Comics #42 & 43 and have been attached to the middle of the comic. To summarize, there are 4 complete stories but only 2 are native to Batman #2. Batman #3: The example has 33 of the 34 original pages including the front and back cover. There is a cut out on an ad page that effects the first story. The missing page has the second half of the Just like junior story and an ad page. There is a large cutout on the last page of the 1st story that effects that art. The pages are light tan to slightly brittle. Batman #4: This example has 17 of the 34 original pages including the front and back cover. The first and last Batman stories are present and complete. The 2 other Batman stories are missing. All comics are shipped cocooned inside plenty of wraps of bubble wrap within a box we specially order that is larger than the item needs in order to provide plenty of cushion for bumps along transit from our office to your hands. Furthermore, all orders ship out within 48 hours max on weekdays. (We are closed weekends for shipping but our customer service dept is open). Our shipping protocol is detailed below, but given all the variables (address, weight/dimension, value, etc.) we reserve the right to change carrier/method or other shipping variables without notice. Our decision will be made with the safety, security and swiftness of your delivery in mind. 

      For USA packages UNDER $50, we may ship USPS (1st class, media or priority) with insurance and delivery confirmation. For USA packages UNDER $400, we ship Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. For USA orders of $400 to $1000, we ship UPS Ground with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation (Please note that for all orders of over $400 we will require a street address, no P.O. Boxes will be able to be used unless discussed prior). For USA orders OVER $1,000, we ship FedEx or UPS Ground with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation. For higher value packages of $5000 and up we ship FedEx Ground or 2-day express with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation. And finally, for the really expensive packages, we ship FedEx overnight express with insurance and delivery/signature confirmation.

    INTERNATIONAL packages ARE NOT FREE!....WE DO SHIP WORLDWIDE....PLEASE EMAIL FOR QUOTE....very important, we ship all international orders either thru the post office First Class International or Priority Mail International, UPS or thru FedEx. Some of these services are not the cheapest, but they are the fastest and safest. For larger bulk international we sometimes use a third party freight consolidation shipper to save you money, but for these it needs to be orders that can be palletized (Over 500lbs). They also provide tracking which is required by Ebay and Paypal. The shorter the time a package is in transit, the lesser the chance for a problem to occur. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS/DUTY/TAX CHARGES LEVIED BY YOUR COUNTRY, if you have specific customs declaration instructions we would be happy to accommodate you as best we can. If you do not provide us with instructions, we have no idea what your home country customs may assess as fees. We will gladly combine your auction wins to give you the best shipping package deal possible. We charge actual shipping plus a $5 handling fee (Please also note that any quote for an order of $400 or more that goes through USPS will have separate insurance added which will cost a bit more depending on the value of the item). Also any order that is under 3lbs in weight can be shipped through USPS First Class International, while we do not recommend this method (for reasons stated above) we will provide it as an option when applicable. We will even hold off shipping on paid orders if you still want to do more shopping past your current package. This way you can save your hard earned money and benefit from combined shipping. Just contact us and let us know when to hold back your package.

    Multiple wins will be combined for shipment, but given size and weight of items at times this may not result in a reduction of the stated per handling/shipping charge. Multiple wins with free shipping will combined and sent to a single address. We can accommodate any request outside of our standard policies, but any additional costs, fees or handling will be at the expense of the buyer.
