For sale in this auction is a Batman 1 CGC 5.0 VG/F Universal with Off-white pages. (CGC serial #0096983001) This comic has great colors and is just about the nicest looking 5.0 you'll ever see!
Batman 1 contains the origin of Batman, the 1st appearance of the Joker, the 1st appearance of Cat-woman and is currently #6 on Overstreet's list of top 100 most valuable comic books of all time.
The last time a Batman 1 CGC 5.0 was available for sale it sold for $33,500 and that copy didn't look half as nice as this one! And in the months since then, Golden age DCs have been on fire. (A Batman 1 CGC 6.5 just sold on Comiclink for $54,500. That is almost $16,000 more than what the last 6.5 sold for less than one year ago.
