You are bidding on a new DC Comics Classic vision of Batman as a bronze Sculpture. Batman on the Gargoyle is remastered from the original cold-cast sculpture by Randy Bowen for DC Comics.
This Bronze sculpture was limited to no more than 250 pieces and this sculpture is #10/250. Based on designs by Dick Giordano, sculpted by Randy Bowen, this statue was cast in 1996. Remastered from the original sculpture by Randy Bowen, DC offered in 1996 a limited hot-cast bronze version of its now classic Batman Statue. The Bronze Batman Statue measures over 12" tall (The same size as the original cold-cast porcelain statue) and is mounted on a solid obsidian marble base. Statue features a classic art deco "tri-toned" patina, the bronze Batman figure has a cape and cowl in gunmetal blue and black, perched on a champagne granite gargoyle. Between the date stamp and artists signature is the number stamp marking this statue number Ten (10) out of 250.
This statue is new, yet has been displayed. This Bronze was purchased directly from DC Comics by the seller in 1996.
