Description

This is my final ALEX ROSS Piece, I am not a dealer, just a former collector selling what's left of my personal collection, once it's gone....it is gone! If it doesn't sell, I keep it. The beauty of not having to sell.  :-)

BATMAN: WAR ON CRIME by ALEX ROSS  #245 of 250!!!!

Originally sold in the Warner Brothers Studio Store Gallery in 2000, this particular one was purchased at Highland Mall in Austin, Texas. This was the only was to purchase these and you basically had to get your name on a exclusive list as fast as possible or you missed out. By the time they were in the stores, they were already sold out.  Those were the good ole' days.

Now on to the lithograph itself.....

This is a great stand a lone center piece for you collection or the perfect companion to the Knight Over Gotham Lithograph if you own it. This one is #245 of 250!!!! Only 250 collectors have this particular piece of art...even less than the previous Batman: KNIGHT OVER GOTHAM Lithograph by Alex Ross I sold just days ago. Insane! This is an incredible piece that was done by the one and the only ALEX ROSS and was immediately sold out as soon as it became available. I would say that if you missed out on it back then,  you best not blow this opportunity! You will not find too many other collectors selling this particular lithograph. We don't even have to talk about it, you know what you are looking at. This would make a great Christmas gift for yourself.  The only issues I see on this one is on the framing, some scratches it received from the other lithos when they were stored by Warner Brothers Studio Store. You would have thought they would have had these in boxes or something, but they did not...too short on space in the storage area.

This one is signed by both Alex Ross AND Paul Dini.

These lithographs and cels I am parting with have been in my collection for years now.  Mostly wrapped in a saran wrap type moving plastic and kept in the dark.  So these are in great condition. I originally was hoping to have them in my theatre room / collectors room/ office but it never materialized. Well my loss is your gain, hope it goes to a great home!

The Lithograph framed is 35 1/4"L  x  27 7/8"H
