Description

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ! Sales typically run Saturday to Saturday. Auctions that have no bids by THURSDAY EVENING are normally pulled before the closing date. If there are bids the item will remain on eBay and sell. It may or may not be listed again. This lot is also listed locally and I do have regular buyers outside eBay so, if someone makes a deal and there are no bids on eBay, I will pull the ad and sell them.

DESCRIPTION FOR THIS AUCTION

Sharp, high-grade (CGC 8.0) copy of "Batman" #222 published by DC comics in June, 1970. Features Neal Adams doing a Beatles take-off on the cover and a letter from Mike W. Barr. I included scans of the front and back of the comic before it was graded along with a scan of the CGC verification. Case looks pristine. Do not see any scratches or cracks. This was just encapsulated on December 27th of last year so this case has seen very little handling.

Be sure and check my other sales. I will be listing tons of Silver and Bronze Age comics - most in attractive lots.

SHIPPING

[IMPORTANT] - I will combine shipping for multiple purchases. If you do win more than one auction, please wait for an invoice so I can combine the shipments.   eBay will not allow combined shipping once payment has been made. (I will even wait a week or so to combine sales if you plan on bidding on something in the current week - just let me know.) NOTE: Does not work with the "Buy it Now" option

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS!  eBay has made it so difficult to ship internationally that I have decided to exclude all non-USA sales. I tried eBay's "Global Shipping Program" but ran into a major issue with combined shipping so I have opted out of it. Sorry folks!

ABOUT GRADING

Insofar as grading is concerned, just check my feedback profile: 3200+ with 100% positive over more than twenty years on eBay - most of which involved sales of comics. If I screw something up I make it right. However, I do not guarantee individual grades on large lots. Like any other skilled grader, I will not be 100% on the mark all the time so I do not want to get into debates about one or two comics out of a hundred being off by a grade. Large lots typically sell for bargain prices so no nitpicking allowed. CGC, on the other hand, is on them. I do not back CGC grading. That is their job. I do adhere to current Overstreet grading standards. (Available at multiple places on the 'net.)
