This lot includes gorgeous copies of Avengers 54 and 55 featuring the first appearance of Ultron. Both copies are completely unrestored and high grade.
- Avengers 54 has a near perfect spine, cream pages, silver staples, unbelievably deep colors with no fading. Just look at the blacks and reds and the green area in the logo. No toning. Edge to edge this book looks like it just came from the printer. The interior is tight. Back cover is clean. Tiny stress on bottom left corner only.
Overall grade: VF-Near Mint 9.0
- Avengers 55 has a perfect spine with the silver clean staples positioned right on the edge, nice corners. Cream pages. Very bright colors but some edge toning. The back cover has foxing and toning along the top.
Overall grade: Very fine minus 7.0
