Description

A CGC certified copy of Avengers #3 in Very Good condition.

According to CGC, the issue has been conserved with minor professional repairs with replaced staples and a very fine cover trim. Personally I couldn't detect it but this is what reduces the grade to Very Good - the cover & internal pages are all intact and it looks much better than the grade indicates.

Best Offers

When I was a dedicated accumulator of comics (as opposed to just a reader of random graphic novels) I always thought it worth asking for a discount if I thought I could get one and any asking price is just a desirable target.

If you want the comics then decide how much they are worth to you and, if it is less than what I've asked for, make an offer.

However if you are going to make an offer then please leave plenty of time for me to respond. This is not my day job so if you make on offer on the last day then I'm likely not to see it before the auction expires.

Postage & Packing

Due to work commitments and limited access to a parcel drop-off point I can't always mail things during the week and sometimes have to wait until the weekend following payment.

I generally use Royal Mail so postage is calculated based on weight and I’m happy to combine Postage & Packing for multiple purchases where Postage has been listed and it's easy for me to do. If you have multiple purchases then please wait until I invoice. It's easier to adjust postage before payment than afterwards plus EBay & PayPal will have already charged their fees once you've paid.

Please bear in mind that both EBay & PayPal pile their charges on top of whatever the courier charges - this is nearly 15% of the postage cost and a fixed cost.

Plus, of course, if you want to come and collect them from me in Northampton or nominate a courier of your choice then I'd be happy with that.

Just let me know in advance and I'll adjust the postage accordingly.

The postage cost also includes Royal Mail postal insurance - if you want them shipped uninsured then it cuts the cost but only if you (the buyer) accept the risk of damage in transit
