This issue marks the quiet, unassuming first mention of the woman who would become Peter's Lois Lane. More dramatically, this also marks the first appearance of one of comic's most unique and compelling villains, Kraven the Hunter, given a typically grandiose and eyecatching look by the gifted Ditko and a characteristically tragic backstory from Lee touching on the Russian revolution and the way history tends to crush everyone underfoot, big or small.

All raw comics are carefully and strictly graded by Metropolis Collectibles. We use Overstreet standards to grade each book. Metropolis does not guarantee that other dealers or CGC will grade Metropolis graded comics the same.

Metropolis guarantees that only books described as restored are restored. In the rare case you discover a book Metropolis sold you as unrestored is restored Metropolis will give you a 100% refund within the first 14 days. We consider books graded by CGC and placed into a blue, Universal holder to be unrestored. Customers are responsible for any expenses incurred in the discovery of restoration or shipping costs.

In the rare event that your item is currently out of stock, you will be notified promptly and receive a full refund.

We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully describe our items, including any flaws. If the rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, you must contact us and ship back the item within 14 days of receipt of item. Refunds will be given upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item.

We will only issue a refund if returned item is in the same condition as it was when originally sent to you. When returning merchandise, please ship your books in the same packaging Metropolis used to send your order. Be sure all cardboard slabs are taped tightly to prohibit movement of the books between them. Please include the original invoice that came with your order, and a short explanation stating why you are returning the item.

Returns are for the cost of book only and do not include shipping. The buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs.

We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If despite our efforts your order does arrive damaged, contact us within 14 days of receipt of item to receive instructions on filing a damage claim. Please keep all contents and all original packing material.

All sales of comic books noted as graded by the Comic Guarantee Corporation and sealed in the CGC protective plastic casing, or any other sales of comic books graded and sealed by a 3rd Party Grader, are final. If you have any questions concerns regarding a return please email us by clicking here.
